This is a fantastic place to stay. The location is great, the view from the balcony is stunning, and the apartment actually felt bigger than I was expecting. However, there were a couple of issues which were completely out of Oleksii's control, but challenging none the less. Firstly, both swimming pools were not working, and looked like they haven't been for sometime, which was really disappointing. You are still able to sit around the pools in the beautiful gardens, just not be able to swim. I understand however, that work is due to happen to repair them shortly. Secondly, there is a huge apartment block being built direct behind this apartment. All three bedrooms are facing the building site, and the builders are working six days a week. They start early in the morning and work all day. It's noisy most of the time, and on occasion it is really loud. If you are up early and out all day long then it won't be a problem at all, but if not, then it can be difficult at times.

this place is so close to the busy monumental Boulevard which has a lot of Travellers, restaurants and more, but once you get back in it's very quiet. Especially sitting outside on the large balcony. We needed help from the host and few times and response time was excellent.

Geschmackvoll und zweckmässig eingerichtetes Appartement, ganz wie beschrieben. Hervorragend für Alleinreisende. Tolle Aussicht vom Balkon und Meeresrauschen. Sehr sauber. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und antwortet bei Fragen umgehend. Nichts.

Quick to respond, realistic descriptions, nice neighborhood (beach walk, groceries, restaurants), balcony overlooks the sunset perfectly, absolutely worth the price - just make sure you're an experienced driver, because the parking lot is a bit tricky, then again this applies to all of Madeira. Would recommend 10/10

We have stayed in the same building, in two different apartments previously. This apartment was far superior... Minimal furniture and wall art but of high standard and very tastefully decorated. The apartment included two types of coffee machines with coffee capsules, full kitchen facilities, remote control awning which covered the ample and comfortable balcony seating. All day sun. No road noise only sea noise backed up with garden bird noises.. Everything you would need for your stay.. Easy walking access to hundreds of restaurants and supermarkets. Great recommendations from the owners....Oh and Stunning views... So pleased were we with our two week stay, we will be reserving again later in the year if Olexii will have us to stay again !!

Tolle Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf den Ozean vom Balkon! Die Wohnung ist praktisch und durchdacht eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Das Bett ist besonders bequem und sorgt für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Der Gastgeber Oleksii hat immer sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen reagiert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic stay. The villa has an unbelievable view and Oleksii was fantastic and over delivered as a host. Would strongly recommend anyone stay here if you’re visiting the beautiful island of Madeira! Thanks for making our stay such a pleasure.

The apartment is beautiful, absolutely clean and well-equipped. You had everyhing you need in a household: dishwasher, washing machine, all the kitchen utensils plus the basic equipment (salt, olive oil, sugar, kitchen towels, capsule for dishwasher and washing mashine, etc.) and most of all a Nespresso coffee machine (with a few capsules). The view from the balcony is stunning, we spent a lot of time there. My only regret was you couldn't enjoy the panorama sitting on the balcony furniture, because the railing blocked the view. That would have been the perfect spot otherwise. There is a parking space in the basement belonging to the apartment. The location is super: lots of restaurants, shops around. The center of Funchal can be easily reached by bus in 15 minutes. One more thing: read the detailed "Guest book" the Host send you, it contains all the important things about arrival and stay. Definitely would stay here next time as well!

Oleksii was great to deal with and the apartment was lovely and in a great location in the Lido area. Access to the pool was also really nice and the view is great. Would come again!
