I don’t even know where to begin or what to praise the most, because absolutely everything about this apartment is wonderful! Let’s start with the enormous terrace surrounded by greenery – it is so huge that you could almost play football there! You can sit, lie down, relax, barbecue, enjoy beautiful evenings or have breakfast outside. And you have complete privacy. The apartment itself is exceptionally well furnished. You will find everything you could possibly need, and much more besides, including board games and lots of useful little extras. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with absolutely everything you might need. The apartment was spotlessly clean and smelled lovely. Its location could hardly be better – everything is literally just a few steps away. We also really appreciated how professionally the self check-in was organised. We received very clear and easy-to-follow instructions. The secure and private parking was another big advantage that we greatly appreciated. We didn’t like having to leave :--))))) because it was already time for our flight home – this is definitely a place where you could happily stay for many weeks!

Walkability: high for short trips within Machico (beach, shops, cafes, bus station). Public buses: SAM and other interurban services connect Machico with Funchal, Santa Cruz, Caniçal and east‑coast villages; buses serve the town’s main stops including the central bus station. Taxis and app-based ride services (Bolt available on the island) operate from Machico and the airport. Car: recommended for exploring the island (VR1 motorway gives quick access west to Funchal and east toward Caniçal/Porto da Cruz). Ferries: small harbour serves local boats; regular ferry/ship connections to Porto Santo operate from Funchal. Bike/scooter rentals and organised transfers are common for tourists.
